Assessment frequency of variables across cohorts

The plots below describe how often a specific variable was encountered in the investigated cohort datasets. Zoom into the plot to explore it in detail and see all variables on the y-axis. To evaluate in which cohorts one specific variable was available, please use the StudyPicker or comparison tool above.

Summary Statistics of Demographic Variables and Selected Biomarkers

The table below summarizes the demographic characteristics of each cohort and describes the distributions of some important Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers at each study's baseline. Distributions of demographic and biomarker values are described using the 25, 50 and 75% quantiles of the absolute measured values. To make biomarker measures more comparable across cohorts, we additionally report the deviation from the healthy control group of one respective cohort and a selected participant subgroup of the same study (i.e. all, healthy, MCI and AD). This deviation is given as the quantiles received when evaluating the absolute quantiles under the empirical cumulative distribution function (ECDF) of the control group of the respective cohort.
